At CNSS, community life means looking out for one another. Our Community Care team has embodied this commitment for over forty years and has been recognised with the “Volunteers Are US” award and the “100 Hours Award” by Enfield Council.
Our dedicated team engages in a variety of activities to support our members, including hospital visits, home visits, and phone calls to those who are unwell or bereaved. We send birthday cards to our senior members, deliver gift parcels to housebound members during all the Chagim (Festivals), and provide Pesach parcels to families in need. Additionally, the Community Care team organises an annual summer party and a Chanukah party for members over 80.
