All about our NOSH services at CNSS

What does it stand for?       No Ordinary SHabbat

When does it happen?          On the first Saturday of every month

Who is it for?                         Children of all ages

Who can come?                     Everyone welcome, including non-members

Our NOSH services are designed to be a safe, welcoming space where children and families feel valued. Led by a dedicated team, each service is packed with engaging activities like storytelling, drama, and food art.

Age Groups

  • Ages 0-6: Join Kathy for lively songs, games, and Shabbat prayers.
  • Ages 7+: With Gabriella, explore the week’s Parashah through fun discussions and games.
  • Youth: A monthly guest host brings exciting Parashah-themed discussions and our popular themed kiddush.

Festivals and Events

Throughout the year, join us for Chanukah parties, Purim and Simchat Torah celebrations, a Shavuot family picnic, and our annual NOSH Shabbat lunch.

Join Us

Arrive at 10:45 for pastries and refreshments in the Hub. Services begin at 11:00, followed by a lively Kiddush in the hall for food and socialising.
